FAQs

Do you take my insurance?  

Valley Dermatology takes most insurance plans.  Call us to schedule an appointment and we can check your coverage for you.

How soon can i get in?

We are typically able to schedule patients for an appointment in the same week, if not the same day.

DO you perform mohs surgery?

Yes, Dr. Jones is board certified in both Mohs surgery and medical dermatology.

Do you Administer botox?  

Yes, several of our providers are trained to provide neurotoxin for multiple indications.

do you have same-day appointments?

We often accommodate urgent appointments or referrals the same day. By calling the office, we can schedule you as soon as we can. 

do i need a referral from my primary care physician?

No.  You can schedule directly with us without a referral. 

Are you able to accommodate a male or female provider if I have a preference?

Yes, we can accommodate both preferences.

WHat does it mean to be board certified?

The American Board of Dermatology is an accredited medical board that requires its diplomats to 1.  Be a physician  2.  Have completed a four year dermatology residency, 3.  Pass a written and microscopic examination, and 4.  Perform continuing medical education four times yearly to remain certified.  

The American Board of Dermatology has board certifications for medical dermatology, Mohs Micrographic Surgery, and dermatopathology.
